How old are you - average age?

19 and 40+ seem to be the most popular.  Isn't it brilliant that the mk1 has a following of people 15 years old to 40+… I'll never sell mine but it's good to know young-un's will keep the cars alive.  How many other types of car can say it's got that kind of following.  The annual meet should be good this year!?!?

I'm 23 mate and since having my car a year and a half (bearing in mind in the past 6 months I've finally settled in a well paid job) I struggled so much to keep my car on the road -  but well worth it.

If you count, buying it, tax, insurance, parts and the extra petrol it used (from when I had my MK4 Tdi) I'm talking about ?10,500 - where there's a will there's a way!

I'm 36 and the wife is 32 and i did buy it for her, but i am the member so it got my vote.

17.. but tbh i reckon there should be a < 17 group.. cos there is a couple, dont leave the kiddies out, and i was 16 when i got my golf so there

As I said I couldn't change it once it was put up… I read your "cleaning engine bay" thread but thought you were the only < 17 to be honest.  As said before, sorry to those younger than the poll starts.
