My 1st car was a mk1 1.1c but that sadly died and just would have cost to much to fix. So at the mo i driving about in a polo ops: ,and just waiting for a real nice mk1 gti to pop up for sale.

Ash, cheers for the offer mate, but i think its too far gone to save, plus I'll be using bits off it to get the hof back up n running!!
You know your welcome down here whenever you like mate
If you need any bits for yours off it let me know as It looks like I might have to break it, gonna give it a run this weekend and let someothers look over it first tho, might still be saveable!!! but not looking good
But yes mate, a cool colour and i wish it was more solid, was gutted, then it could have been a good reason to sell the mk3 and use a daily then!!

however, the mk3 is stuck at work, so the only option was to fire up eric, not started since brought him home.. worried about ice as the heaters werent working!
Jumped in last night, he started and the heaters started working.. Amazing
So managed to use him to get to work this morning.. Thank god..
So this weekend, I might whack hm with the lowering stick, put the hof's coiles and P slots on him and use him for rest of winter!!!
Took the rear bumper off at the weekend and found more rust… Not a lot of solid metal in there, even the towing eye is rotten!, so i may as well use him till the mot runs out!!
so front n rear bumpers will come off, will put the rusted bonnet form the hof on, take off the grille etc etc and fit my knackere dold rusty roofrack too.. Proper tatty n ratty but use n abuse till MOT runs out/or parts needed for Hof and Bluey!

yes mate, thought about it lloads, but its not deep enough, we bought hti shouse with a plan of knocking down the little outbuilding behind the rat, and then build abig garage with bedroom above etc etc… then still got loads of room to the side!!!Bert said
Lawsy, the rat in the pics, thats a perfect place to build a carport
Bert
That rat (hof) gonna get resto'd next year, this was bougth witht he hope its in good(ish) condition, but its not, so gonna start robbing parts from it and save them for doing up the hof!!!
Might have to do a temporary carport for now tho…
Was outside tinkering till 10 last night, couldnt feel me fingers!

But first off, I'd see how much could come and stay road legal!!!
Not much, rearseats out, rear boot liner was that wet the felt had rotted and fell apart so swiftly threw away!
Still saved the grille and bumpers for Bluey…
the threw on the old rusted bonnet, lashed up the indicators with cable ties and cable tied a mk2 grille to the front!!
This is how he stayed for a week or so whilst using as a daily..
Proper Ratted… lol

So here's the Passat, dubbed, well as we have swear filter, its the peerat.. You get the meaning!! lol
Then after a long Cht with simon, AKA 36th, he said he could do with a driver, so we have a deal, he can use the car untill i need bits (keeps it on the road a bit longer) and then when MOT expires its part robbing time!!! (unless he passes) lol
Si, over to you now mate!!!!
Keep on Ratting!!!!!
