iirc he made a couple of hundred and gave them away due to the costs being so low so i dont think if he did charge it would be that much :wink:

now i have a general idea off what people like/want i am going to go away and chew over the info.  i have a lot of work to do regarding the merchandise in general and this and umberellas being on my list so watch this space in 2009!

Sorry to reality check you but, if you want my opinion you need to concentrate on getting rid of the stock that'll soon be cluttering up your Mum's hose before you start ordering more.

im sure he has aunts and uncles that have space

perhaps all the old stock if its old needs to be looked at and see if the prices need dropping to shift pointless hanging onto stuff if it aint selling  :wink:

i am currently looking at all the pricing and lots of other things so yes before we buy more stock i am yes looking at reducing prices as low as i dare on most if not all lines.

dubboy's just bought a stack of stuff, surely most of that needs sold before there's more money to buy new stuff? Or is the club gonna tie up thousands of ? in stock in boxes of loads of different things that someone has to store? Your aunt should start invoicing self storage at commercial rate!

read post above paul_c lots to sort out before new stock get brought.

has this got any further, or have complications mentioned above.. um complicated things?

X I think this is on the back burner mate as there were just so many opinions or rather differences of opinion, things are happening though that might make it possible!

As for Paul's comment, I'm afraid it was Rajan that spent loads of cash on merchandise that wasn't approved by the previous Committee, wasn't generally liked and therefore hasn't sold well. I should know as I had to design exactly what he wanted and warned him it wasn't appropriate to the point of refusing to continue working on it, that's why we never had a Cabby T-Shirt, I just gave up!

Ultimately you're right though Paul we need to shift existing stock before it's looked at again and this time it will be more open.

Have a look in the Merchandise forum mate. There's lots of stuff in there and I personally think lots of it is really good and well priced. As for plans regarding 'shifting it' I don't know, I think the best way would be to simply promote it more.

Just for clarity, Dubboy had the approval of the committee and the budget had been pre-approved some time ago for the spend, there was nothing wrong done by him at the time. Also at the time your talents were brought in by the committee to do a piece of work, you weren't on the committee at that stage.
