Might be my last trip with an 8v engine, bought an engine hoist last Saturday and the Scirrocco 16v manifold turned up from Florida yesterday, so need to get playing with it at some point.

Just got back from Blackpool, arrived there Friday,,,,,lovely evening…just a little windy.

Today…….windy as mmmm but complimented by buckets of rain  :? , not pretty at all on the prom and only just slightly better down the back streets.

Nice to meet dubmad and also good to see a few of the regulars. Unfortunately dannyd and I were unable to bring our Mk1s because they're SORNed and we were a few regular members down too:




Still it was good to catch up and chat, etc. Hopefully we'll plan one last "xmas" bash before the year's out and I'll try to get mine taxed so I can come in the Golf too!

Yeah, pleased to see you Dubmad, sorry we didn't get a road trip on the go….but the numbers were low  :cry: .  Paul, Dubmad and myself had a little discussion and are eager for a trip to Black Rock sands next meet, but to wait till beginning of December(road tax reasons).

So opinions on dates and if your up for it please  :wink:
