Ultra VW - 28th Sept Wellington country park

Anyone planning on going this?

Ultra VW magazine's annual Bug Boogie meet at Wellington Country Park, just off the M4 near Reading. It will be sharing the showground with sister title 911 & Porsche World magazine, and their annual Porsche Picnic meet.

Mk1s and Porsches? Too good to miss IMO… Will be there for sure.

I did send an email to them though there "contact us" about club stands & didn't get a reply.

I was gonna say it's a region one, but it's in Berkshire - so I suppose it don't matter

I got in touch with a guy at Ultra VW's head quarters - CHP he said it should be fine and gave me the ditors email, still awaiting a reply, I did try and contact him via phone but he wasn't about (friday) - I'll try again Monday!

Sorry, I?ve been working in the west country for the past week.
Yes, it?s no problem to organise a line-up. Although it?s an informal affair, the t4 forum and b289 clubs have set-up their own mini-displays in previous years. When you arrive, just check the space you?d like to use is ok with one ofthe counter staff at the ultra vw stand then I?m sure it wil be fine to line-up pretty much wherever you like. We don?t have ?pegged out rows? or anthing like that, and as long as everyone is sensible, I?m sure we wont have any problems.

Comon guys this should be a good show, packed to the brim of Beetles + Porsches' - be something different to the trailer shows we all know and love..!

Yer, I'm quite surprised that more people haven't said they'll go. So far, the list looks like
