Due to a busy weekend of birthdays I haven't had chance to sort any posters or anything out as of yet, but will be doing so this week.

We still need a good few people at this first one though, don't wanna be second best to the crappy PT Cruiser meet they have there do we..!? (different night of course - )

Hello, well i'm a student at Cov uni so i'm usually around when term is on, think there's a few golf owners at the uni, not 100% sure they're all mk1's though….
Also the halfords guys are VW crazy, so i'm sure they'd know of other golf owners, are any of them members of the club?

Anyways, i'll keep checking and see what happens…

The plan is to get a few flyers and start putting them on cars in the area!

I need to get a list of the people on here registered in our area, but with there being no Web Manager at the minute it's a little bit hard!

Me and A5OPY are currently working on members in area for new regional meets.

I have agreed to a Warwickshire and Leicestershire meet as this will nicely fill the space between Bedfordshire, Milton Keynes/ Northampton and GammyGolfGti in Birmingham area.

Its just under an hour (70 miles) for me to go to Nuneaton so i will probably support you guys as well.

Just bear with us at the moment and i will be able to tell you how many members are in your area.

I'm in Nuneaton and would be there. You might have to forgive me coming in my company smoker to start as my newly acquired '79 GTI isn't running so need to get my technicians on it. Might be a little while before he's alive!

I've seen quite a few dubs in and around Nuneaton. I'm sure I can stop them and see if they might be interested. Get me some flyers and i'll do what I can.

Let me know the plan when it's sorted.

Flyers are in the pipeline at the minute! Should be done this weekend, I've just been hectic at work.

As far as coming in the company car don't worry about it, with these old golfs there's a contantly amount of some on and some off the road anyways!

There's one at Pizza Hut ever Wednesday night at the Big Tesco by Ricoh arena, all VW's quite a few new ones though.

There's also Decked-Dubs every last wednesday of the month at The Old Mill, this is all VW's

Peeping Toms I think is now every wednesday at The Peeping Tom Inn other side of Coventry, mostly air cooled, but a good turn out fo watercooled too.

Note these are all not MK1 Specific.
