Help with Corrado VR6 cooling please

Hi all - anyone know about Corrado VR6s? MY uncle has one and the lower rad hose from the engine block to rad has split.  He can't see how to get at it without taking the rad off which is a bit of a pain.  Anyone know how to get replace without rad off?
