Bit of a change of plan considering the engine, going to be heading down the G60 route with this one.

This means that the KR, Gearbox, Wiring Loom, Bike Carbs, Fuel Pump and Regualtor are up for grabs

Also as a bit of an update, i heard from a friend that rear arches and the fuel filler have been sorted.
Slow and steady wins the race

Well, Saturday was a day spent stripping bits down and checking to see if my 4 to 1 fitted (and it does so super stoked)
only issues so far have been:
a snapped head off the top water pipe,
a couple of rounded exhaust manifold bolts
and now just need to remove the allen bolt at the bottom of the charger bracket to strip the rest of the front (but the heads rounded already)

here's some pics

Front mount acquired

and checked the fit of the manifold. Just need to clean up and wrap again

That;s it for now. Going to start cleaning up the gearbox and try and get that last charger bracket bolt off

No body shop updates then but will swing by and get some pics.
I;ve heard the drivers side is all welded up and passenger side has been started so it's getting there.
Might be a long shot but hoping to have the engine ready for when it comes back from paint

im still working in the UK, i just went to Canada for the rest of the snow season.. soo much fun

Great progress, can't wait to see the ol' girl roll out of the bodyshop. It must be a good feeling to know she is in good hands.

I like the "slow and steady" quote. Funny thing is, mines been waiting to go to the paintshop for nearly 7 months now, something always more important seems to come up tho.

Good, progress, keep up the good work!

Wanted: Front Bumper, DESPERATELY NEED A DRIVERS WING!

thanks guys.
yeah really can't wait to see the fresh new paint on this and now set myself the challenge of trying to get the engine ready for when it comes back.

probably a lil bit optimistic but we'll see..
I will laugh if this comes back to me before the mk2 though
