Re-spray.....with latest pics

ok so here's my problem…..just done sorting all my rot and tidied all panels, car sat in primer waiting for her new coat for the summer……and dam if I had a dilemma……was gonna paint her a nice light met blue(the car is white originally)

        But suddenly dont know if i can do it to her…..should I stick with original or not???? HELP

personaly i would stick to the white but just my pref  prob save you a bit of money as well unless its a total shell respray

cheers, Iv got lots of paint at mo….and painting it myself…but think gonna stick with the white I'll post pics tonight ….might be blue might be white  :lol:

Just used normal 2k with fast hardner thru a HVLP gun….was a painter long long time ago like 18 years ago first time picked up a spray gun in anger in about 12 years……….looks great in the pics but a few runs quick flat n polish n she'll look lovely :roll:

totally gobsmaked. no not the paint job even though looking good. the size of your work space. beats my cold wet driveway anyway. thats what i call having room to work.

Cheers for all the positive comments guy's…..as for the workspace perk of the jobif you look carefully in the background it's a dead giveaway  :lol:

just smoked and lacquered my rear lights side indicator's and front 1's to, will post some pics when fitted…think they look even better than the 1's you can buy

Which HVLP gun did you use…was it the Apollo Spraymate 400 ????

….now going to pull up a sandbag and swing the lantern…..the sight of an army truck….and a lovely Workshop…..memories…!!!!

Ok Prowler since you got 2 cab's be coming to you when I need advice as this is my 1st attempt at bit of resto……the gun was a devibliss GTI …very pricey but worth the money…..I'm crap at painting really it was all the gun  :roll:

finally finished my mini resto project off for MOT tomorrow fingers crossed
 a few pics of finished results
sorting out the window rot

nice new underseal

new brakes ( to be uprated soon,as well as suspension)
