Project mk1 G60-New pics pg11
well i bought this mk1 in january of this year, thought it was a solid little car but how wrong i was.thing is it had 11 months mot on it when i got so thought it was a good one.
piccys of the car
so thought i would get all the little bits sorted out thats when it became apparent that it needed quite a bit of work.
bit's iv'e had done to date are
new complete rear panel
2 new rear arch's
2 new rear quarter repair panels
both chassis repair panels under boot
both chassis repair panels under the rear beam
full front panel
both full sills
2 plates on the inner wings
The floor pans where in good condition which was a bonus.
Few pics of the bodywork to date, will be getting painted in the next 2 weeks.
excuse the quality as they where done on my phone
More better pics when i pop in again next week.

awesome work there mate, looks like a lovely car in the first place, wud benefit from some badges on the boot though, maybe buy some of those repro items that are stick on then u wont have to have a new boot, either way mate, looks like a sweet car, and well done for restoring it properly

Looks good, glad you are looking after it and giving it the time and attention I couldn't.
Get some decent pics up with the new wheels on just to rub it in a bit.

Are you happy with the quality of the repair to the spare wheel well? I'm not sure why I noticed it, but it doesn't seem up to the same standard as the rest of the car (very nice indeed).
It may be absolutely fine underneath - just thought I'd make sure you've seen it…

Yeah as Rich M as said it was done ages ago.it's solid enough and is fine underneath so not really an issue for me.the car is never going to be concours just a bit of funmcscrew said
