Ok, sorry for lack of updates - I will put together a full post very soon, but currently working towards getting this car to paint in the next couple of weeks.

Pressure is on, as I am moving on the 30th June and I need to get this car finished so it goes to paint while I move!!!.

Following work has been carried out:

* All welding completed (rear arches, front and rear valance, a number of other bits around the car.
* Genuine front wings purchased and fitted
* One side of the car stone chipped (along sill and under arches)
* Under side under-sealed
* Dolly designed and fabricated to enable the car to be transported and droppe  d off the spit.
* Rear axle stripped and refurbished
Donor car engine stripped and packed for transport

List of stuff to do before it gets collected:

* Finish interior rubbing down/etch primer (90% complete)
* Finish engine bay rubbing down/etch primer (50% complete)
* Finish passenger side (incl fit front wing, stone chip)
* Drop car onto dolly and finish front and rear valance + inside boot.
* Strip and prep doors, boot lid and bonnet and fit for transport
* Remove front screen and prep
* Prep roof for paint (i.e. release bottom wire and lift bottom edge of roof to allow paint to top edge of car - if that makes sense!).

Looking forward to a lovely gleaming car returning to my new pad after all this work!

A couple of pictures for now!!:

Thanks Matt.

Yep!  I want the paint shop to spray into the arches (make it a bit more original looking!) and means I can get it off to paint without fitting all the suspension, subframe etc.  Will also make moving around a bit easier.
