Do it once and do it right! ok, we've identified the problem, lets not make it worse by guessing……… Identifying the sympton is not the same as understanding the cause

Well a quite productive day untill i had a small fire!! Wiper linkage had seized solid and the stalk was left on, things got a bit hot and i wasnt paying attention to the smoke pouring out of the scuttle :-(
Oh well, better now than mid week. Anyway
Exhaust fitted
All but 1 brake line fitted (ran out of pipe :-( )
Gear linkage fitted (what a total ball ache setting that up was)
Vac lines all piped in
Lights fitted
Random pic

Jobs done today, finish off brakes (just waiting for the spring clips to arrive at vw)
Run fuel lines, make brackets for facet pump, wire in facet pump, fix exhaust knocking, check lights/functions, all works excluding rear fog and driver side indicator off the stalk (works on hazzard)
All being well and good the car will be ready for mot by tomorrow!!!!!!

Well it sadens me to type this but its not going to make the AGM, had a wasted day yesterday trying to sort the running out which is a shame as everything is done apart from bleeding the brakes.
If i had 2 more days id be there :-(
Looks like a mk1 again
Interior done (sneeky pic)
Got it running today fairly nicely.
