My Resto 1982.... ENGINE START! With video!

if vw no longer sell the glue

take them to your local glass place they should be able to sort them for you

the glue is UV so it cures with UV light. used to use it at work to glue glass displays together :)

Started mocking up my pedal box. Not sure if cardboard will be up to the job though?

obviously you should use genuine vw quantum cardboard boxes to make this part. safety issue! 8O

Would be a bit messy though. Think I might go with steel.

Got a lot achieved today. Will let the pictures do the talking.

Firstly made another cardboard mock up of the pedal box.

Then started on the metalwork, A lot of tacking on to measure and then cutting bits off.

Then all welded up and finished.

Now some nice pictures

Might get it powdercoated. Not sure if I will need an extra brace as I'm not using it for track but might do one anyway.

Thanks! Its not that hard. You going to get rid of the air box then?

Thinking about getting a different wiper motor so I can hide it. Like this one.

There is a link to the computer fans I bought from america a few pages back when I was doing it and the demister is a BMW E30 rear screen demister. But the E36 ones are better apparently.

Well if I wont be able to get to them just by taking the under dash bit out then I will have to take the dash out To top up the fluid. Will be ok.
