My 1983 white MK1 Golf GTi project

Got the wiring loom out of the box on Sunday and laid it out on the floor to work it out!  Wiring is not my forte and not looking forward to this job.  I might need some help form you guys at some point.  Its all in the car ready now to be connected up! I will get some photos on here at some point.  :dontknow:

looks awsome mate, but were did you get those rear red lights from they look realy nice???

I got the red tail lights with the car because the guy i bought it off had gathered a few parts ready to build the car.  They are genuine VW and iv not seen them before. Really like them though!  

I may sell if anyone is interested?  I have got a new project nothing to do with cars and probably wont have time to continue for a long while.

Decided to keep the car and finish it off due to some daft enquiries. Sorry if anyone was honestly interested. I have put my other project on hold until early next year which means i have the rest of this year to finish.

Maybe TKG 211Y will be on the road ready for next season.

I have my father in laws MK1 Escort AVO Mexico on the AVO owners club stand at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power this weekend so if anyones going, pop over. Its a yellow/orange with black stripes and 4 Cibie spot lamps!

Did any of you guys end up going to the Pageant of Power?

I went down in the Golf and think it was the only one there! Very dissapointed not to see another Golf but it was a really good show - nice to see (and hear) some of the old racing cars and bikes blasting round the track

I was there on Saturday and Sunday.  There were some ace cars there.

Did you see the Demon Tweeks E30 M3?

This was our stand. First yellow/orange Mexico on the left was ours.  

I was there on the Sunday only but yes, saw that M3 on the track, it sounded awesome.
