Here are some more pics of progress.

This is the crusty fuel pump and accumulator set up, I was concidering replacing some of the parts for new, but after seeing some of the price for pipes and brackets etc  O_o decided to refurb my setup as most of it is relatively new and just has surface rust and corrosion.

At the start

Stripped apart and cleaned up with wire wheel.

Painted

And assembled

Also got some bits back

Box of nuts and bolts from platers

Parts back from sand blaster and in primer

Mixed up some more epoxy mastic 121 and set set to work spraying them

Thanks for looking  :)

Thanks Andy, Coming along nicely I hope. O_o
It will be 3 weeks saturday since I last saw it, I think the paintshop have also had other work to get on with so I think they will still have it for a couple more weeks. That gives me more time to prepare parts and paint, as I dont want to be doing any painting when I get the shell back in my workshop so I dont get overspray on it.

Great thread! You've definitely got some good skills with the welder!
I had an elise for a few years and the seats were surprising comfy, even on long trips!

Would you mind telling me what paint you used on your calipers?

I will continue to follow this build. Will be stunning when it's finished!

My rebuild thread I will try and keep up to date: here

Thanks for the kind words  :)
The gold paint I used on the calipers was vht brake caliper paint. I was pleased with the finish it gave.

Here are a few parts that I have been putting together.

Firstly some new parts that have arrived!

Superpro polybush kit!

Various wheel bearings, ball joints, trackrod ends etc.

Front hubs assembled with new bearings.

Wishbones assembled.

I'm keeping the rear drums to begin with and see how I get on with them, as I can always convert to rear discs should I feel the need at a later date.

Drums brakes built with new springs, bearings etc.

And lastly rear beam assembled. :)

Havent heard from the bodyshop for a couple of weeks so may give them a call in the week. You will have to wait and see on the colour :'( , played it relatively safe as for how much its going to cost wanted to make sure I would be happy with it
