kick it out from the inside.
FPMSL (but only because I've seen Pineapple Express)
If you wnat to keep the screen intact it might be best to cut the rubber off the back so it's not held in and it'll come straight out the front.
I've tried to save a tinted screen by prising the rubber around the screen surround - I'd hardly even started to get it out and th sreen split right down the middle. ops:
Yradave says relax.

I like the idea, god im even thinkin of buying an old cab myself and buggy'in it! Be quicker than waiting for you to pull your finger out and crack on with it!
Just buy a welder there only about ?230 from machine mart and it will soon pay for itself if you know how to use it.
Do you honestly have any idea what your doing at all? (seeing as you ask so many important questions that you should already have sorted in your head before attempting a job like this) I dont think so….
Come on mate i hope you take this as constructive critisism and are not offended,i as many other people following this build are eager to see some results instead of just stripping out and pondering.
I would re-design the way the dash is secured so that you dont need to access the bolts from the sides anymore.
Work the problems and create the solutions….
Now put your spliff down and crack on with some real creation on your project we are all waiting to see some good results…

cheers mate, believe me noone wants this finished more than me. but i have a few problems that havn't really been broadcast much, i don't have a garage, i am not loaded, i need to save up cash to do anything on this. this is fine UNTIL the corsa head gasket goes and i need to get it fixed. ok the ?800 bill may have been fine for you, but not me. instead i had to borrow a garage for the weekend and fix it myself. so it would only cost me ?400.
sorry if i'm holding you up mate. but feel free to go out and make your own.
sorry to all the guys that a would appear to have let down.

well i thought this site was here for that reason.
surley i'm better off asking now rather than waiting till after the project is nearly finished. just because you would like to see what it looks like.
it's all there the end goal is the same. the questions that are being asked by me are just fine details.
you may say that i shouldn't be doing this if i've not had hat much experiance, but i learn as i go. and i'm happy with that.
hope to get some real work done soon tho.

Sawthe update, new pics and thought
WOW, work may be done!!! But nope..
But then i Understand where your coming through as well, money doesnt grow on tree's and ideas are good to have in your head, shared can help you overcome an dunderstand your own questions
So crack on at your own speed, take your time and do it your way!!!
If it takes 10 years, yeah, we'll take the michael a bit. but at least its better than going to a scrapy, I've a couple of projects i'm about to start, and one of them, may take longer than this..
