mk1 barn stored project, not been on the road since 1994,

those cills, are they from crazy quiffs? Do they have the swage line for the trim to fit to? May have to replace mine but the ones from quiffs don't have the swage line for the trim, so the description says.

yea the  are pal there solid aswel not flimzey or anything like tht, got engine nearly out ready for the strip over xmass :D

got front end striped and rear end striped ready to take the panels off to repair gril repainted and rear beam off ready to sand blast, any make of anti roll bar i should go for?

a few more bits done like new fuel tank and brackets new exhaust and a few bits welded like rear floor pan seat belt  mounts. new panels to go in full rear and front panel inner arch outer arch bothe side. sills bothe sides, rear quarter panels bothe side, rear chassi section :D.my goal is to keep the car lookin stock but with a few goodies on it :D

so if anyone has ideas of what else i can do feel free to tell me

right i fare bit has been done and got for the golf a rebuilt engine with cam four branch manifold and full system exhaust. had all the welding done
everything i could get a polly bush for been polly bushed, and more aswell.

leavin this car stock on the outside but changing the shocks, exhaust, cam and rubbers make it a better mk1 :D

welding finished

and sandblasted underneath and wax oiled

its been a while since i post on here as money has been short but since iv had pear beam powder coated and polly bushed, fornt end all brand new polly bushed to. new fuel pump and acc brackets. custom fuel lines made still waiting on them will get pics. now ready for paint

yea since iv taken the rear beam off and striped it bare polly bushed it kept the orig drums on and just changed the inners, new green brake lines to put on. had a rear chassis leg put on. new fuel pump and acc bracket to.

so thats everything polly bushed that could be polly bushed.
