replace the old coil packs with a fresh set
old
new
next up i needed to sort out the OBD2 port as I'm running the standard management i want the use of the diagnostics port but to do this u need to be running the standard clocks as without this the vcds can understand the signals from the ecu
me and adam (bloke that deimmobilizes the ecu's, www.chiptunawarehouse.com) sorted this out on the crazyquiff demo 1.8t i wired up a few weeks back
so i dug the old clocks out from the mk4 i stripped cut the length off clock loom off
had a little look at the bentley wiring diagram found the wires i needed
that gives power to the clocks
so all i need now is a OBD2 plug and socket with a bit more wiring i will have a functional diagnostic system
