ditched the whole heat shield idea now as i had a look on the mk1 20vt at crazyquiffs and there is no massive need for it and it will hide my nice smooth bulkhead
ive mounted the remote servo
will be hidden by the centre console when its all back together
next i sized up all the hidden brake lines ready for flaring tomorrow fronts will pop out here
got my decoded and remapped ecu back today so ill get that mounted up tomorrow too 8)

How have you setup the brakes? you have 2 master cylinders an 1 servo, are you running the rears straight of the MC?
I have a remote servo and considered using it but didn't want to run all 4 corners of it and had thought to run the rears with out but wasn't sure if you could do it.

2 bias cylinders on the brake pedal
1 goes straight to the mk4 1.8t rear disk brakes via a adjustable bias leaver ( replaces the factory one that bolts to the axle) giving me 100% > 0% pressure on the rear brakes
front ones comes from the 2nd cylinder to the remote servo that boosts the pressure via the vacuum servo then splits off to the 4 pot wilwood front brakes
the single servo only on the front brakes has been tried and tested on crazyquiff rich's ABF mk1 and the system works fine and full MOT complaint and brake roller tested 8)
make sense?
