Didn't realise your car was a rolling resto! Looked so tidy when I seen it in person, just read the last few pages, excellent work!
Be good to see it again soon!

manage to do a few bits tho.
need some new ones of these but seems that they are no long around. the heads were round instead of hexagonal
so handed the job over to my grandad who is a engineering legend.
he fire up his lathe and now they look like this…!!!! perfect
also got the hub apart using a gear puller and large vice, cleaned and painted it all up
before:
after:
got a new bearing kit from GSF and slid into place using he vice
put the newly painted disc cover on
put it all back on after cleaning the suspension
thats it for now!!!!
off down gsf tomorrow get new disc, pads. thinking about some goodridge flexi pipes to finish the job off!!
what you lot reakon???? :dontknow:

all the item in the boot that i have gathered this week
finishing off the front, but i got this far and hit a hurdle
this is my hurdle, went to bleed to the brakes and then the worst thing happen. i snapped the bleed nipple. not a happy man
tryed a few things to get it out but not having any look. any ideas???
so i put this to one side to finish off the welding on the drivers side.
cleaned it up to inspect the problem
got alot of it cut out
i have also welded the new bit in but forgot to take the photo, have to wait till tomorrow.
more progress tomorrow hopefully
