Slowly started putting the car back together
Suspension temporarily fitted just so the car can be pushed onto the trailer to take it back home
In the process of fitting the roof lining. The original sound deadening was glued back in first but I don't have a picture of this
Roof lining fitted
Windscreen, door seals, rear side windows and tailgate rubber all fitted

Wow what a transformation! Read this topic a while back, when you were stripping it down, checked back today and Boom it's in paint. What the hell! Mines got pretty much no rust and it's still sat in the garage, bare waiting for paint lol.
Damn I hate people making progress and and doing a good job on their cars!

Thank you everyone for the positive comments Got a bit more done
Steering column strayed
Two new wings, stoned chipped in black on the inside and sprayed along with the tailgate. Stared to prep the door and trial fitted the door and wings. I need a passenger side door if anyone knows for a decent one
Closed up of the spray job

Thanks both - Progress has been a little slow recently for different reasons but I've got a little bit more done
Rear lights, tailgate, rear screen and bumper fitted. Rear lights will be changed for standard lights once the car is on the road
Bonnet catch refurbished
Tailgate strut refurbished
Tailgate catch refurbished
Hopefully my sound deadening sheets will be here this week so I can get them fitted and put the dash, heater matrix and carpet back in

Quick picture of the underside. Only one I have at the moment.
Sound deadening fitted. Closest to the original I could find. These pads are designed to attract noise so there is no need to cover the full panel
Original sound deadening and heater matrix re-fitted
Hopefully my new door (Thanks Smudger & Simon for this ) will be here today and then I can get it sprayed along with the drivers door and bonnet, get them fitted so the car is water tight get it home and start making some progress again.
