Jimbo's Mk1 Golf 1.8t

Not sure yet, i'm a bit short on cash, and probably won't be on the road until next summer (that's if i keep it whole), as I'm being deployed 3 months in Oman and 3 months here for over a year as of September. And i really want a mk1 caddy (sorry!), so I might start selling all the non transferable parts and the shell…. 😕
But I'll definitely be keeping the engine!!
Not sure how much a shell in this nic is worth though- £500?

Haha It's one of the reasons I bought it in the first place, for the engine to go in a mk1 caddy

so i thought i'd starting removing the engine;



all wires and pipes disconnected from the engine;


just the gear linkages and clutch to remove….

also, any reason why there's oil in the turbo air feeds?

Think its quite normal to get some oil in the cooler pipes. Oil catch can cures it. I vote keep it whole
