Loving the build mate.  Thanks for adding info with the pics too as it makes it much easier whe researching for my project too :)

These build threads are an inspiration to me as I have my shell in the garage waiting to start - hopefully late January will be starting it.

tonight i changed my passengers side steering arm from a solid arm to an udjustable arm









could realy do with your opinion on this one guys

at the minute i have a series 2 dash wrapped in red and quilted.. well.. i also have a series 1 dash and i realy dont know which one to use aha  :dontknow:



also made some dust caps for my wheels  8)

love it  i ,wish i had money to chuck into my golf :(
i recon the series 1 dash looks better reds a bit to much in your face.

Thanks guys and i think im guna stick with the red dash and get it on the road

the mk1 golf AGM meet will be one of my 1st shows. Not to much longer to go so these
next 4 to 5 months are guna be manic

just a small update but seeming as it is bank holiday monday and the workshop was free i went in and painted my grill trim surrounds white  :D also paid full membership  :mrgreen:







back together with a nice shiny badge

new EBC pads and seels for my brake conversion





okay i know this is copying and such but i genuanly liked the idea of it. i shall let the pictures do the talking … thanks brad  :mrgreen: ( even tho you dont know yet ) aha

computer froze  :banghead:

anyway up to date now

finished filling and primed the bumper







then black shutz the back





just need to flattern the primmer and re apply the texture black paint  :D

only going to be running a rear bumper for the time being i only deleted the front bumper asfor i want more air for my intercooler  :twisted:

anyway painted the bumper tonight and took collection on some clocks

this is one hell of a project, keep the updates coming, just not too sure about the huge bucket seats :/ i would go OEM with the interior. but thats just personal preferences. :)

Thanks mate. I was guna leave it oem but i put buckets in for abit more safty and obv a personal choice. They look better in the flesh. Photos dont do them justice aha

i really like the bumper. Fit it to a car and post a pic mate..... :)
