Golf MK1 RAT

I can't understand why you would want to put all that effort into destroying an iconic car when you could have used the effort to put some of the issues with the car right.

Sorry if I sound negative, however I'm sure more people on here would agree. :naughty:

Are you going to lower the back end of your Golf a bit? And is your car really a diesel? Couldn't hear it properly on the video.    I like your friend's red LD too, reminds me of mine

You should have just put your wheels on it and lowered it and then left it at that.
All the paint and graphics make your car look horrible

at the end of the dy, when i see anykind of MK1 on the road, be it a caddy, i complete turd or the cleanest one out there, i still love seeing them and i think it looks pretty nice! i dont think it matters that its 'forced' people seeing it outside of this forum dont have to know that, could do with being dropped several inches but i like it, its unique!! and it stands out, good for you man!

im not going to get all purist here, cos thats predictable..

so im just going to say that (as already mentioned) if a car has been left unmaintained asthetically, but is sound mechanically and structuraly, then go for it, some of them look okay,

but if youve got a perfectly savable (ish) golf, and then gone out of your way to make it degrade infinitely faster than originally intended, and then stick a metal barrel shaped fuel waster on your roof, then it starts to lose all of its already painfully diminished appeal.
