lmao @ dubber looks tidy mate. whats yer origenal wheels called? as they are very nice indeed :wink: cant beat flat splits easyier to clean

the ones currently fitted are stilauto in 15x7 (for sale)
and the new ones are oz fittipaldis in 15x7 and 8s out rear, having the centres green to match the paitwork.
how you getting on with the 20v conversion?

 

Sorry going to be a little cheeky and say I'm not a massive fan of the ew seats as I loved the old ones and this whole car just wish I had the money when it was for sale. I'm rather jealous

What you doin with the old seats?

prefere the old seats, but the new seats look nice, little too modern perhaps

yeah fair comments guys, im 6.2 and my back was killing driving in the short backs also im 16 stone so i wasnt doing the old seats any favours at all.
the old seats are now in a mates mk1 as his car is brown etc
maybe period recaros would have suited better, iv spent the cash now so no turning back.

Always loved this car. The interior, the colour and the wheels. Genuinely gutted you changed the seats though. But its your car so enjoy it the way you want it

love it. it sold about a week before mine got stolen and i saw it when i was after another and wa s abit too late. congrats
but again, gutted about the new seats though. bet theyre comfier but the original looked sweet!

oh well i best stop posting now as im gona change everything about this car and i know i wont get any approvals from you. i like the look of the series1 but thats about it, everything else needs to be modern, theres no stopping now as iv spent 7k already.

Constructive criticism, that's all fella. This forums membership stipulates we keep things fairly original round here, hence the responses. But hey, a Mk1 that's been kept going is alright.

mate, do to YOUR car, what YOU want to do! sod forum approval, is anyone else on here driving it? no? who has to live with it? you!! and for that, i think the seats are sweet and the colour of them compliments the car no end, and plus they look ruddy comfy!

cant wait to see your wheels when theyre painted up! fair play to ya for doing what youre doing and its your car mate, do to it what you want and sod everyone else, be different!!

Love the new seats, want some for mine but I suspect they are fairly rare and extremely expensive. Great colour, Great wheels (both sets) Great Car! Good effort chap!
