Thought you meant an insert inside for fitting not the gear numbers on the top :dontknow:

Ridgeway Reading rang this morning… wanting my chassis number to check that the right part was being ordered with Volkswagen spares… wtf?

It doesnt matter if you wanted to fit it to a ford, you want that part number and thats that.
If you get anymore grief ask for the manager.
Failing that paypal me the money anf ill order one my end and send it to you.

well that's what i did originally… but it came sans plastic insert thingy
I will see what they say and if they say that's how it is supposed to be then I will get a refund and might take you up on your kind offer 8)

I got a call from them first thing this morning… they spoke to the factory direct and surprise, surprise it IS supposed to come with an insert :roll:
they have ordered it in, hopefully it will arrive tomorrow morning and I can exchange it

Picked my wheels up from the polishers earlier today.
Very happy with the results.
There were a few little marks on the rim that looked like kerb marks which were to deep to fully repair so were improved as much as possible.
Anyway here are some pics I took earlier after giving them a few coats of rimwax.
Disaster happened on the way home from collecting the wheels.
Started to hear a little rattle from the front of the car which went pretty quick then started to rattle really badly 8O
The exhaust is blowing quite bad from the front so that means a trip to longlife sooner than planned.
The misses bought me these today, VW valve caps and keyring

Is your exhaust knackered, or could it have just poped off one of the clamps or something? Does yours have the big swivel joint with the "C" shaped clamps?

Also they were polished as standard so all ive done is had them them refurbed.
Yeah spinners will be next!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't put BBS RA s on a Rivage if your trying to keep it as standard as possible, these were mirror polished from factory.
