Was bored again today so decided to make a little box to go in the boot to keep some of my cleaning products in.

I used the same carpet to cover the box as i did lining the boot.

Quie happy with the result.

Can keep everything tidy and still put shopping ect on top.

Also booked my wheels in to be re-furbed in 3 weeks

Nice touch Ceri ! because of my sub, i have to make do with one of those collapsable crates to fit all my cleaning stuff in for shows, luckily it just fits in the rest of the space left in boot, Really like that though, lovely clean and tidy !

top work :-)

Nice, looks like my boot minus the sub.
What did you do with the back of the seat?
Have you boarded and carpeted the hole or just trimmed the back of the seat?

Cheets mate.

The little clip holding the side repeater snapped when I changed the bulb.

Got a new set here but wont fit them till the car is out if the bodyshop later this year incase they snap again.

Decided I didnt like the box I made for the boot so took stripped it out today.

Then while the misses was out shopping I treated the car to a wash, dry, polish and 3 coats of wax.

Sorry for the amount of pics.

Im on my phone and easier to select them all than handpicking a couple of them.

Wash, dry, polish and wax came up very well… your motor looks very well.

Anyone got any annoying stop chips on the bonnet?

Cheers Hugh.

Hugh I have chips all over the car and a good few dings but I will never get them fixed as I think at 20 years old it needs character  :dontknow:

Yeah front part of the bonnet has quite a few stone chips.

Not bothered about them as the car is getting painted sometime this year.

Cars only going to be used as a weekend car during the summer then.

Get yourself a bonnet bra if you want to eliminate stone chips.

Had one on my mk4 for years without a problem, as long as you maintain them once fitted.

Sorry Ceri… don't want to hog your thread…

Yes - some character - my previous owner went around with his little pen and put red pimples on my spots… LOL

Cheers Hugh.

No need to apolagise Hugh.

More chat the better.

This is the one im going to buy when I get the car done.

All you got to do is make sure the bonnet is clean and dry before fitting.

I used one everyday on my mk4.

Took it off every morning, gave the bonnet a wipe over with meguiars quick detailer just to get rid of any light dust.

5 mins max and your ready to go.
