AGGIE the RAT mk1

Currently trying to get some wheel spacers made with the correct centre bore,
They'll be 15mm rather than me current 10mm universals.
Hopefully try and get them for sunday before i venture back down to swansea
Fingers crossed.

i love the rat look i have a beetle half way there but people up in Inverness dont know what to make of it
last year in the car show had a boy in a mark 2 golf mint parked next to us all he did was slag it off and saying
when you getting the rust fixed the best bit was that more people came and looked at the beetle than his one he was not happy  

A lot lower with smaller wheels and it would complete the look for sure.

Oh i know !! Ive also been the only rat at a couple of car shows and vintage meets now, and the attention it gets always makes me smile, even when they obviously hate it.

And i do want to go lower but the bottom mounts are already 4 inches off the floor rolling 13's :p

And 4 inches?? That's tons! My passat it less than an inch clearance to the subframe and and it hardly hits. Man up. lol

Yes well i'll see what my coils can do. But i dont know if its worth it with the roads where i live :/
I do want to go lower. And thinking about itthere is only about an inch between the tyre and the arch.

Love this car. It's all about the rat look!

Not for me in the slightest afraid. I don't get forced rat look, rat look is for old cars that have patina not been paint striped.

I just really don't understand why anyone would want to get a half decent car n ruin it… Bumble bee in transformers… Rubbish outside but mega engine… That's a real rat

this car however was already a rat when i got it.

and to be fair this car gets more attention than ANY other car at every car show ive been to including vintage meets.

Yeah your right I've just spent thousands restoring my now mint mk1 but now I'll scrape all the paint off it n let it rust.

You know the fat, spotty, smelly, ginger kid… Everyone looks st them too… It's not for the right reasons haha.

Each to thier own I'm just a bit of a purist.. Don't get me started on "euro style" grrr haha
