Wheels
Hi I have got ronal wheels which are 7.5 x 15 and we have put them on the car and they are rubbing on the back on the wheel arch any ideas out there thanks sarah

What size tyres? I'd go no bigger than 195/50/15, but ideally 195/45/15s if you're lowered much.

The distance between the centre line of the wheel and the face that it mounts to the car with.

Mk1 Golf wheels are usually around ET 34, measured in mm.
The lower the ET the more the wheels will stick out, ie the closer the wheel face is to the centre line of the wheel.
The ET will be stamped on your wheels and I suspect it will be much lower than 34
