Rivage tyre size

Hi last year at AGM I got told that my tyres are too big for my le castelles what's the correct size?

If they are 15's I think they should be 195 50 15's !!

Really, vw fitted that size, I have no idea but that surprises me, would have thought 185/55 x 15 more likely.

185/55 was Vw spec but 195/50 was a dealer fit spec.

Most guys that I know are running 195/50's and I've got them on 3 sets of 15's and 195/45's on my RM's.
