possible new alloys

Just a  quick question, I have a chance of a set of 5x112 15" 7j alloys from a Mercedes worth a 37offset.  I'm assuming that using 4x100 to 5x112 adapters with with a 20mm spacer will be OK to fit on my cabby also would a 195x50x15 tyre be ok .will that fitment work or look stupid. Any help would be great
 

Won't work unless you went for a stretched tyre combo.

You'd need to run 165 width to keep the tyres inside the arch. At the rear you'd need to run 35mm spacers to keep the same look as the front.

Not worth it unless you really want the scene points.

would give an ET of 17, quite low and the handling would be affected. with arch work you may just squeeze em in, i had et13 on my mk2 with 195/50 and they did just go under the gti arches but i had to cut all the lip off!

looked ace, but the rears would run over bumps and the handling was noticeably affected
