poly bush... busy weekend ahead! HELP NEEDED ! .... N/S wishbone

There is another method of dealing with stuck bushes, but I have only seen if done off the car, and that is to burn them out! Not sure I would suggest doing it while still attached to the car.
There is indeed a good chance the sleeve has bonded to the bolt, but do you think the bolt has started to come undone from the captive nut in the chassis? If it has, then that is good news. You could try having another go with the breaker to see if you can overcome the resistance of the bush and wind it out. If it has sheared, have you tried applying a wedge or lever to try and force the wishbone forwards?
Good luck

Good luck with that.  I take it the bolt was not sheared then?  Was it just stuck in the bus sleeve?

Yea the threads on the bolt were fine it was totally bonded to the sleeve bushing as I thought.  C:\fakepath20150313_184740.jpg

this was the main reason the nut popped. I'm gonna use a new nut while I'm at it just in case there was any damage done.

Finally managed to get the bolt welded  back in place after some help from a good friend :)

I don't know how this could have been avoided to be honest as the bush was completely  fused into the wishbone and there was no easy was to get it out.

Anyway after some precise key hole surgery we got things sorted and back together.

Well done!  A nasty problem and not easy to fix.  I trust I'll never have this problem.

I hope I don't have the same problems. Going to start with the penetrating fluid and give it a few days to work its magic when i finally get around to doing the job.
