My tyres are Dunlops and I run mine 30lb all round.
90% of the time I'm driving on my own.
I've tried 28 to 32 and mix it front and back.
But I've found 30 is right for me and my driving style.
I get good even wear and I check mine every other week and before long trips.

Depends on the tyres. XL rated ones need higher pressure to reach their load capacity so worth bearing in mind.

Thanks Gents
the tyres are Toyo's Proxes T1R
PXTIR
If that makes any sense
