Can anybody tell me the best method of changing my offside bottom ball joint please, Failed m.o.t. Regards Tony

Get a good ball joint separator then it's pretty simply. Undo the main nut, but leave on a few turns if you can whilst you free it.

In any case, once it's free then you've three nuts/bolts holding it to the end of the wishbone

iirc the originals are riveted in, so be sure to get the replacement ones that includes nuts and bolts if so.

be sure to remove the bolt from the bearign carrier completly as the ball joint has a notch machined into it the bolt goes thru so it'll never come off otherwise
