1.8 GTI clutch on 1.6 GTI? Is it possible?

Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me out, im building a fast road 1600 gti engine (EG code) with cam, forged pistons, twin carbs etc. and was wondering if it is possible to put the 210mm clutch onto the standard 1600 gearbox. From my knowlege all MK1 golf gearbox spindles are the same size so it should fit on, will the flywheel be the same too? The reason for asking is as Im not sure the standard 200mm clutch will handle the extra power and i cant seem to find any uprated 200mm clutches, only uprated 210 clutches.

Doesnt matter now, ive managed to find performance clutches,

to answer the question anyway yes you can fit a 210mm clutch, but you would need a 210mm flywheel as well
