Help, renewing fuel line on a mk1 golf driver 1983 1.3

Hello,

what do i need to renew renew all the fuel lines to my mk1 driver, when under the car i keep getting a distinct smell of fuel. what type of fuel line do i need to buy etc ?

as long as its proper fuel safe stuff you're fine. it doesnt need to be injection rated as its not under any kind of pressure on a carb. 5.5mm i/d for a carby

Can you buy kits for doing it ?

you just buy rubber fuel line off a roll down local motor factor. if  the metal pipes have gone you can replace the lot with rubber if you like
