no light

I have a 1982 golf gti, this morning the indicaters weren't working, eventually after trying everything found out it is a bad conection going into the fuse box, sorted !! But not the front or back lights wont work but the full beem works , totally lost any help would be appreciated , thanks

checked all the bulbs and fuses? mkae sure the bulb holders in rear clusters are clean and earths to chassis are clean.

its the red/grey and black/grey wires you need to look at for the sidelights, for dipped beam yellow and yellow/black. make sure the dipped filaments havent blown as they can go and main beam still work.
