Mk2 Stalks How-To??

I need to replace the wiper/mfa stalk and have bought pre 90 spec Mk2 stalks and am looking for a guide on how to fit them?
Any advice would be great.

take the wheel off, swap stalks, refit wheel

only issue is if your car is the early style with only the button on the end of the stalk, if so you'll either need to swap to later mk1 clocks and add 2 wires or swap the mk1 plug to the mk2 mfa stalks, matching the wire colours. the 1/2 button on the mk2 stalk will then do nothing at all
