Went out for a spin today, getting a bit dark so had the headlights on. Pulled into the drive and with the indicator still going turned off the engine and removed the key, only for the engine to stay on. Checked it with the indicator off and the lights on and she turned off correctly. Basically with the combo of head lights and indicator going the engine will not turn off, you can literally take the key out and walk away! Haven't done any digging yet but anyone have any ideas?

No idea, putting in a new dash in the next week so I'll get in and see what's happening, expecting some novel wiring

Well it's either a rogue feed getting to the coil or a bad earth earthing through the coil but giving enough voltage to keep the coil charging

check the grey wire from ignition switch terminal p andf the wires to PL and PR on the stalks. pin P on ignition switch is for the parking lights feed if fitted and its live with ignition off. the parking lights system may have shorted into the ignition wiring somewhere
