hmm, try unplugging the indicator stalk plug next, has black/white black/green and black/white/green wires. If that doesnt help pull the flasher relay, check for damp/corrosion in the socket/relay pins

Done all that mate . even put new relay in. Indicator and hazards work fine just dull light! Thinking maybe faulty switch or clocks

well if still dull with relay and both switches out its a wiring fault or problem with the clocks. check the earth for cluster to start with, if car has the MFA dash it goes to the side of the head, if not it runs to earth claw above the fusebox

Clocks have mfa but not using it so left plug disconnected.

right then, if the mfa was factory fit check the side of the head for dodgy looking earth wires. if not then check above the fusebox for dodgy looking earths

If everything works ok, is there a problem? My indicator sort of glows dull green, but that's normally the least of my worries. You'll soon forget about it when something more major packs up!

its an indication of a problem to come
my mk2 did the same when it came out retirement, then after a week it stopped. great i thinks, bit of damp or whatever. then a few days later indicator stalk packed in completely
