help me identify this wire pls!

Hi!
i  have  a 1988 golf cabrio  carb engine.
While i was replacing the vacum lines i came across this broken black-yellow wire.
it is  inside a black plastic tube that comes out from the same wire loom as the distributor wires and the yellow wire of the oil pressure sensor.
My car runs fine whitout any problems.

does it have a weber carb now? if so it probably wont be needed, its an ignition live for the 2e2 carb. on the weber you just have the 1 ignition live for the carb heater

I still have the original 2e2 carb. 

any plugs on the 2e2 with no wires to em? have a look at the thermoswitches in the front head flange as well
