Fog light always on

failed my mot on Saturday because the rear fog light wasn't working on my 83 mk1. Changed the bulb and it comes on which is great but you can't turn it off! The dash switch makes no difference, even removing it doesn't change anything. Any ideas where to start?

I had same problem, it was headlight switch.

check the fuse above the fusebox for it, 2x grey/white wires. pull the fuse and see if it goes out

Worked out what the problem was. The cluster had a separate live feed into it that was keeping the bulb on, took this out and it worked as it should do
