Blower motor

Hello

Just trying to change my blower at the moment. I have followed the how to which is great. Only issue I have is the connectors on the old blower are different compared to the new one. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how do I get round this?

its not that one motor has the resistor still attached and other one does not is it? pics?

First picture is the old blower, you can see the 2 connection points at the front of the picture.
This picture shows the 2 connecters and the new connector on the new blower. Not sure how to connect them together.

must be a revised part, the red wire is your live and brown is earth.

yellow on the old loom to red, then crimp a female spade on the brown wire with the male spade on it and put it to blower earth

ideally try to find a matching spade plug housing (its a genuine VW type) and crimp both wires with uninsulated latched female spades so they clip in.

but they shouldnt touch without just make sure firmly seated
