Any way I got her back and jumped the fuel pump relay and she fired up. Easy I thought. Anyway new relay fitted and still no good.
I substituted a 53 relay so the pump ran continuously with ignition and she runs fine. I've ran some tests and found the following.
30=12v permanent supply. 87=feed to pump. 15=12v ignition switched supply. 31=earth. 1=coil. Both 12v supplies work and we had continuity from coil.
Everything tests ok.. but clearly the car isn't seeing get a signal from somewhere.
I assumed the coil? However I have continuity.!
And the Rev counter works..
I've changed the fuse box assuming it was faulty but it's made no difference. Any suggestions??
The careason was completely refurbished about 3 years ago and has been faultless save for the fuel pump seizing. I fitted a genuine bosch one and it's been fine for over 2 years.
Lastly if I manually close the contacts on the the fyellow pump relay it right runs fine until I let go.. thanks in advance Steven.

check the red/black to D/26 on the fusebox, it should go straight to the coil maybe its been cut and spliced straight to the cluster wiring

She has a pictorial explanation of what to look for.
Could be as easy as the incorrect relay, or sub-par relay.

Only other thing I can think of, make sure the thick brown hanging out of the white D plug is earthed properly to the 4 way white claw on the fat brown coming from the battery in the headlight loom. This 4 way block has a thick brown out the back which needs to go to the earth claw above the fusebox

443906059 & 443906059A are compatible with 321906059D/E/F, and 443906059B is compatible with 321906059G. 443907385G & H are compatible with 321906059H
from my research I believe 443907385B/321906059G has a 6.5k limiter, 321906059H has a 6.3k limiter (so you want the 6.5k type if you need a rev limiter relay)
