1979 Rabbit Fuel injected - Cold start ignition relay ID Needed:

Post

New to the forum here as well as new to the whole thing of MK1 VWs.
I hope I am in the right area of the forum and hope that someone with more know how can help me here.

I have a 1979 Rabbit Convertible, 1.6 engine, Fuel Injected model.

The real major problem I have here, Down here in Perth , Oz, there is limited product  knowledge and parts sourcing.

Since getting the car just over a year ago, I have redone the head.
The major issue now,  is I can't either locate or correctly identify which " Cold Start Ignition Relay" ,  applies to this car.
Have done the net search and Ebay as best I can but come up with no real info or obtaining a relay to suit.
There has to be some information or factory specs that correctly identifies the part and correct part number, or an OEM replacement as such.

So really need help here or info as to where I can buy one, so I can get the girl on the road.

Many thanks in advance

its not something we had over here, and I doubt you would need one either!  the cold start valve on the kjet cars here is fed from the starter motor pin 15a, and the earth is supplied by the CSV thermoswitch in the coolant flange on the front of the head its the big brown 2 pin unit.

it may be you have a slightly different version of the kjet injection though?
