What badge should be on the back of an 1989 mark 1 clipper (big bumper) offside

My daughter's just replaced the bootlid on her clipper, her old one had a golf gti badge, what should it have?

What version of the cabriolet do you have?
Is it the fuel injection engine or the carb feed engine?

I believe it should have a badge with the words GOLF on the top and Cabriolet underneath, not having the carb version, I have the GTi I'm not 100% sure but I googled it and found this image, look at picture 8 and there is a picture of the boot.

If the boot lid is scrap don't forget to take the badges off, they do just pull off but be careful not to break the tabs off and the number plate trim etc and you can then sell it on or if the Golf GTi badge you have fitted is any good you could sell it to me if the price is right.
