Thomsons water seal

Hey all

anyone ever used thomsons water seal on mohair roofs to waterproof then?

Getting water in mine and not sure if it's the silicon gone in roof or the foam gaskets are away.
been reading on a few other forums about using thomsons coz it's cheaper and just wondering if anyone has used if or what is the best product out there for said job.
