Rear Parcel Shelf squab/pivot

i recently bought a new parcel shelf for my 1983 Golf 1.5lx as the old one was just a plywood board but i have no idea where to get a squab for it to pivot on, or what they look like…anyone have a spare or pictures?

The Parcel shelf rests at the sides on the speaker mounts. The rear of the shelf that's up against the rear seat has carpet hanging over the edge of it.

This is clamped to the top, rear side of the back seat with a metal strip. There's also an elastic/fabric loop each end corner that gets clamped under the strip from memory.

I've got no pics to hand but I'm sure someone will be along soon with one

First pic shows you the silver, metal strip. Check with Mark at Classic-VW he may have one. Otherwise should be easy enough to make something.
