Leaking through the rear window

The roof on my cabby has been leaking from the handles for a while, and I've been meaning to do the how to for a while now but with all the rain recently I need to get my act together!

Anywho theres also water coming in from the seals around the rear window, is this normal? I haven't looked into it too much yet I was just wondering if this sort of thing is common? and potentially any quick fixes anyone has up their sleeves?

there should be non-setting mastic type stuff under the seal, might need a bit more

My old rear window used to leak but that was because it had rusted away! look at the metal frame to see if rust is bubbling away under the paint.

Thanks guys i shall look into it when i have a free moment, i have a suspiscion it was rustong when i looked the other day so i will have a closer look

Looking at £200+ for the rear frame    I'm after one too,

They sometimes pop up on eBay or put up add in the wanted section, I got a very good secondhand one for £40 from a scrap yard with the glass and seal as it was just cut out of the roof!
i gave it a rub down and a dam good coat of paint to make sure it won't rust away again.

chortle the man for hood questions, my stuff came with the roof kit i bought and was some german stuff, all in foreign so not sure exactly what it was
