Hoodbag - fit advice

Post

Hi,

I recently managed to get hold of a cheap hood bag - to use a template for a correct colour custom hood bag.

It arrived, I fitted it, but I am not sure it fits quite right.  Before I make the template does anyone know if this fits right?  I haven't seen many in real life (or any in fact) so want to make sure its how its meant to be.

I know there are some differences in years - but it seems to fit okay……

Thanks for the help in advance.

The fit looks a little sloppy, but I'm guessing that you don't have the hooks in the rear corners of the cover fitted in to the loops on the rear corners of the hood itself??

Hi, thanks for taking a look. I think the hood bag has lost the clips at some point in the past.

Its weird the poppers fit, but it seems loose around the central section(above the parcel shelf) There are 2 velco tabs at the front and also two (split) elastic loops just opposite the poppers.

I can see how the clips would tighten the rear but the front seems a little baggy?

Thanks again

Paul

What year is your car? Manual or electric roof?

I does look a little baggy.

Ah they can be a little baggy there. The two velcro straps stick to the underside of the parcel shelf but don't do an awful lot to be honest!
